Perfect location close to private beach which has spectacular sunsets each night. Beach club is awesome and Playa Avallena is such a great, beautiful beach for surfing and boogie boarding. Melissa is a great host, super available and responsive! Don't miss the waterfall tour and catamaran tour and dinner at Lola's at sunset!”

”We came to Tamarindo for a wedding, but didn’t want to stay at the hotel. There were 7 adults in our group who wanted something more private so we chose Hacienda del Pacifico. Pros: Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Courtyard area with pool and outdoor kitchen was AMAZING. Cleaning service came on certain days. Property felt safe and secure. Check in/out was very easy. Host was very responsive and helpful. Access to the beach was VERY convenient. House provided beach chairs, towels, ice...

”We had a great stay. But... We did encounter scorpions, in the house, multiple times. Pretty scary for us. Apparently this might not be a big deal in Costa Rica. But I think it's good to know before going. We also had a bunch of biting ants that were streaming into the house through a hole in the wall one night. Yikes!!! And there was a very nasty ground bee nest by the pool. We managed through all of this but it was as bit of a surprise and I might have liked to know before going...”
