Fantastic place for my son and I to stay!

Check-in was great! I admittedly did not read the check-in instructions super carefully because I was driving, but the owner was very gracious to answer my questions.Pros: Both the condo and the location were just lovely and my son and I felt very safe. Love that all the bedding was white and the mattresses are all encased so we could check for bed bugs quickly and easily (and saw absolutely NONE, thankfully)! Also love that there was extra bedding (as my son had a terrible nosebleed. Fortunately, all the stains came out of the sheets, because the washer and dryer in the unit were great!) The kitchen was well stocked (minus a pizza pan and pizza cutter, but we got creative and split the pizza between the two tiny cookie sheets). Fridge and freezer were very clean. Condo was very clean and we had everything we could have wanted while we were there. Awesome balcony views! Son loved working out at the gym, which is in the building down the street.Cons:We never found the pool, but I know it’s there. Curtains don’t close across the window in master, but there are blinds.Fridge water dispenser leaks a little, but we just kept a couple of paper towels on the floor and it was fine. My son wanted to have a friend over who goes to school in Tampa, but we couldn’t invite her to come for dinner because there was no place for her to park. Having access to a guest parking pass (even one we needed to buy) would have been really nice.Would definitely stay here again!

Close to transportation

Spent a week in Tampa. The condo is within easy walking distance to the free trolley, buses, grocery, bars and restaurants. There are 2 beautiful pools and a gym. The unit itself is comfortable for 2 people or a couple and a single.Four people would be a itbit crowded.

Cruise lay over

We stayed at the condo, 2 nights before our cruise set sail. The location was great. Easy to walk about, local restaurants, nail salons and the cruise terminals was about 1 miles away. Uber access was easy and quick.Plus a CV and Publix groceries around the corner.We didnt need a rental car.The condo was lovely. Clean. Simple. Beds were comfortable. Lovely balcony and salt water pool too.The owner was always quick to respond too.

Nice condo, great location

We had some difficulty finding the building and getting settled (mix-up on wifi login info), but timely communication with Ernest overcame all these issues.They stay was enjoyable . Comfortable bed, good shower, the kitchen had more than we needed, but we ate most of our meals out. The location is EXCELLENT. Easy walk to downtown, but we had fun taking the free trolley only a block or two away. Would recommend.

A great place to stay in Tampa

This place is in a great location for easy access to downtown Tampa, Ybor City and the cruise ports. It was clean and well equipped. The host, Ernest, was easy and prompt to communicate with.

Nice Condo

Excellent condo for couples. Very comfortable and location was close to trolleys top. I suggest adding railings in the bath tub for people with mobility issues. Overall, it was a convenient location.

Great and Convenient, Location Location Location!

Oh my goodness I cant say enough about this place, from the location, amenities, and convenience! Ernst was a great and responsive host. We visited Tampa to see my nephew and he actually live in a building literally through the courtyard (around the corner) from the Slade Building, so this place was perfect. there was a short walk to the Publix, CVS, the Starbucks, and street car line which was FREE! We had a great time and the condo was the perfect size for the 2 of us. We will definitely be staying here again the next tome we plan a trip to Tampa. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had an amazing trip to Tampa for Morgan Wallen (Thursday night concert) but we were so disappointed when we arrived at the condo to discover that it is technically a one bedroom with a twin bedroom in the side entrance as you walk into the unit. We passed up so many other places because of needing an extra room for our teenage daughter. She didn’t even have a door to close and the kitchen lights shone directly into that “area”. The unit was clean but only had one key fob so everyone had to stay together to come and go. Earnest was good about answering questions since we struggled with the check in process, that was our fault- we didn’t understand which grey door to enter. If it was listed correctly I wouldn’t have nothing negative to say but other guests need to know it cannot sleep 4 adults unless someone is sleeping on the sectional.

Ernest’s place is Wonderful!

Great, modern and clean Condo apt. Ernest was very friendly and easy to reach. His apt. was perfect for myself, my husband and our 22 year old daughter. Great area in the channel district that was close to all things we wanted to do.

Great stay

All was as advertised. Tip: there is a free trolly station within walking distance in front of the Florida Aquarium. Goes to Ybor in one direction and downtown Tampa in the other. Great location for dining/starbucks as they are just at the end of the building. Can’t beat the view from the rooftop on the south building.

Don't Book With This Owner

We booked this back in December and was not notified that the booking was canceled. We were in Tampa when the owner claimed he emailed us it was unavailable but didn't cancel the reservation. My opinion is good luck if you choose to book his place.

Quaint

The place was clean and in a good location for easy downtown access. The host is responsive and helpful. It was not big enough as advertised for our group of 4 adults, and my son ended up on the couch. It also advertised 1.5 bathrooms: there is only one. Would be great for a couple or a small family of three, but for anything more, I recommend a bigger place.

Nice affordable option in walkable location

Stayed at the Slade condo for NCAA volleyball tournament. It was a very walkable location- close to many restaurants and the water-front. Condo was clean with two comfortable beds (note the second sleeping area is open to the kitchen without an actual door but didn’t bother us at all). Communication with host was fantastic. He was super responsive to a few questions I had. If looking for an affordable option- highly recommend.

Great stay for Tampa Bay Lightning games!

We got in town early and was able to check in early and use the pool. The pools were not heated but there was a nice jacuzzi/spa. Check in was easy with the provided door codes. The VRBO was nice and clean with comfortable seating/sleeping areas. The balcony provided a nice sitting area for a morning coffee. The included projector in the living room had plenty of movie/TV options, although the display seemed very dim and was hard to watch unless the room was completely dark. The location (Chanelside) felt safe and did not experience anything unfavorable in the area. We were in walking distance to most activities (The Florida Aquarium, Sparkman Wharf, Riverwalk and Amalie Arena). Even walking at night with a 6 year old felt safe. We did walk several miles a day, so walking distance for us was about 1-3 miles one way. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and parks within that walking range. Additionally, you can get a Tampa city pass that includes The Florida Aquarium, Childrens Museum, and Pirate Water Taxi to name a few. The water taxi was a great means of transportation to get anywhere along the Riverwalk, to inlude Armeture Works. Also, the water taxi had cheap adult beverages for purchase. The host was very responsive to any questions. Overall was a good experience.
