A bright house with a rooftop in the heart of the medina

Located in the heart of the medina of Tangier, a few steps from the Kasbah Museum and Bab El Bahr, this independent house immerses you in the atmosphere of ancient Tangier.

It is distinguished by its unique identity: architecture from the 60s, original traditional Moroccan elements, and a layout combining authentic simplicity and modern comfort.

The district is lively and pleasant to explore on foot, with its alleys, small shops, cafes, restaurants and craftsmen.

With a total area of 50 m², the house is spread over two levels and offers a warm and cozy atmosphere. It has a roof terrace with a view of a small square in the medina and a glimpse of the sea.

One of its great assets (quite rare in the medina) is its beautiful luminosity thanks to large sun windows. The accommodation benefits from soft light in the morning while remaining protected from direct sun and heat at the end of the day.

It will be particularly suitable for travelers sensitive to authentic places, the history of Tangier and the singular atmosphere of the medina.

To know before your stay:

It is above all my personal home, which I put entirely at your disposal when I am away. Some of my paintings hang on the walls and the place retains an inhabited and authentic atmosphere. I hope you feel at home and count on your care of the place during your stay.

Services:

- I can put you in touch with a trusted driver for transfers from the airport; he will accompany you directly to the door of the house with your luggage
- Souad can, depending on availability, provide you with meals on request

- A parking lot with restricted access to authorized vehicles (including taxis) is located about 3 minutes walk from the house. If you have a vehicle, do not hesitate to let me know so that I can help you find the most suitable solution.
- The medina is a lively and popular district: outside sounds are part of everyday life (birds, cats, calls to prayer, neighbours, life in the alleys, etc.). If you are sensitive to noise, it may be useful to bring earplugs.
- Similarly, natural morning light enters the room easily despite the presence of curtains. If you are sensitive to light during sleep, bringing a night mask can be useful.
- The wifi works properly but can sometimes be spotty in the medina (not provided with fiber)
- As in some houses in the old city, rare water, electricity or internet cuts can exceptionally occur beyond my control
