The staff are very friendly and of assistance. The pictures of the vistas from the hotel are not accurate. You can’t see much from the hotel. On balance if you are visiting Naxos, it’s worth the rate.”

”I really loved Castiglione di Sicilia - the town is perched on top of a crest of mountain and looks amazing as you are driving in. This seemed like quite a small town with lots of older folk in their older fiats and renaults, or sitting on street corners for a coffee or drink. ”Clearly a newly decorated place, and felt quite spacious due to a nice room, bathroom, hallway layout. Sparkling clean! Lovely garden towards the river - outdoor areas were also very neat and tidy. Spacious parking. B&B host Irene was super nice and helpful - mostly Italian speaking but written communication in English was fine. The B&B is a little far from village life, and there are few restaurant options within walking distance but we did manage to find a very local and super cozy osteria....
