"We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years. The mattresses are getting very soft, like past their best now. Slight mould on some window sills, not good for family asthma. Very old smoke smelling reception area. Still very good rooms and service. Good value and friendly people."

"The place would need a good cleaning.. It was dated and a little rough.. linen were clean, but the room was full of electric gadgets that weren't working. There was just one working outlet for me to charge the phone. I would also love to have a lock on the door.. Luckily the other guests were nice ..."

"Absolutely loved the location, tranquility, comfort and friendly family vibe of this cute cottage. I stayed by myself but will be back with my family. Note - no wifi or TV so it's a true de-connecting experience and it's great for the soul."
