    Historiallinen Ledoux Street pidetään "unelma sijainti" elämää ja loma majoitusta Taos, NM. Artist Retreat, joka oli aikoinaan ollut myöhäisen maailman kuuluisan taiteilija / taidemaalari R.C. Gorman, tekee majoitusta siellä yhä erikoisempaa. Tämä suosittu "kulkeva kadu" ympäröivät taiteilijan koteja, studiot / gallerioita ja on helppo kävellä alusta loppuun, vain yhden korttelin pituinen.

    Täysin suljettu etupiha on ihana Al Fresca ruokailu, lounging, ulkona kesäisin ja ympäri vuoden kylpytynnyri rentouttava. Pitkän kojootin miekkailu (perinteinen Santa Fe / Taos-tyyliin aspen-osainen aidatus) tämä majoitus aarre varmistaa vierailleen yksityisyyden hitaasti liikkuvilta autoilta suosituilla tavalla, yhdellä kaistalla Ledoux Streetilla.

    Upeat vuodevaatteet, patjat ja kalusteet on sisustettu miellyttävällä tavalla perinteiseen lounaaseen ja nykyaikaiseen sisustukseen.

    2 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä vieraat löytävät Taos Village Plazasta ja kuuluisasta Bent Street -kadusta sekä kauppoja että ruokapaikkoja. Nurkan takana, tuskin l��hdettäessä Ledoux Streetia, on kaksi hyvin suosittua ravintolaa paikallisten ja palaavien vieraiden kanssa: Byzantium ja Stellan italialainen ravintola.

    Kuuluisa Harwood-museo on helpon kävelymatkan päässä Ledoux-kadun länsipäästä. Sen lisäksi, että Taos Art Colony 7: n perustajajäseniä edustavat taidekokoelman alkuperäiskappaleet palaavat 20-luvulla, Harwood tarjoaa myös lajikkeita, luentoja ja musiikkiesityksiä.

Awesome location

Killer location. Small place but totally perfect for 3 couples that weren't strangers. One of the bedrooms is accessed through another, but the three baths were a nice touch. Hot tub was excellent.

We ate at the nearby restaurants and enjoyed walking to the Plaza for a little shopping. Jacuzzi felt great after skiing.

This property is pet friendly. But if your dog jumps, they can easily escape. Most dogs can easily jump over the wall to the next door property. The sleeping arrangements are good. It has 3 very small bathrooms, found this a plus. The common space is small for the number of people the bedrooms can sleep. The kitchen is good, well equipped, has an ant problem. Overall, the advantage if being right in the middle of Taos was worth any drawback!

Reviewer Comments: Stayed 6/15-7/14.Location was excellent, 2 minute walk to the plaza, and could not have been more convenient.Cute little adobe house, very well stocked w all essentials...linens, towels, kitchenware, etc.Cherry Montano, our liaison was very helpful, when it came w any issues.Two issues, one minor, one major that we felt might/ could/should be addressed....The iinside is very dark, lighting wise, and many of the bulbs were of such low wattage, that even when turned on, and w shades open, home was still not bright.Might want to consider addressing that.On arrival, the house, it appeared had been cleaned, but only in the most superficial manner.Dust, dust balls, etc, pretty much under and around ‘everything’ in the house.Looked liked someone spent 10 minutes wiping down the tops whatever was most immediately visible, as opposed to an hour or two actually cleaning the house.To be clear, I’m not looking for white glove service.....just clean the **** place.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My housekeeper spent 18 hours deep cleaning the house. We both took pictures of the condition of the house.Only one bedroom meets the NM building code requirements. The other two rooms lack closets and one of them is a walk through to the third room. The furniture is in poor shape, one chair so wobbly we would not dare to use it. One of the armchairs has a hole on the seat that was hidden under a throw. The kitchen sink had a leak that must have been there for a while since there is water damage in the cabinet. BTW, that cabinet door does not close. The spray wand did not work. It took a week to get that taken care of.My advise to fellow travelers: do NOT rent this property.

My friend and I found the Artist retreat very thoughtfully equipped in both kitchen and bathrooms - I've owned a VRBO in the pt and really appreciate the extra touches. The person who cleans was very accommodating when one of the skylight shades fell ... Quick to remedy and pleasant to take to. We will return !!!

We have always loved the places we've stayed with Premiere Properties, and this one did not disappoint either!

It was bigger than we needed, but nice to have the extra room; very clean, including the hot tub; and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, cookware, etc. Plus, it was great to be just a short walk from the plaza. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Taos, and highly recommend it for small groups or families looking for a nice getaway location.

My only suggestion is one more comfortable chair would be great for the living room and a tea kettle for the kitchen.

Lovely Christmas in Taos

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent Christmas 2014 at the RC Gorman House and had a great experience. Everything we needed to prepare Christmas dinner with the Smith's grocery just down the road. It was very clean and well maintained. The snow was shoveled for us (bonus for the youngest since we'd tagged him for the job) and everything was in good working order. In the heart of Taos and easy to get in and out. We actually backed the car in the drive as we found this was easier than backing out of the drive. You'll know what I mean when you see the house. Would definitely stay at this house again in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Walked to everything we wanted in Taos Proper. 4 guys on ski trip. You do have to walk through 1 bedroom to access 3rd bedroom. Great adorable small property for us. Tight parking. This management company and owner will access the property unannounced while you are away under the guise of "Oh... we had the wrong dates of your departure."

Great house, wonderful location

Great home, so close to the Plaza and World Cup coffee. Easy to walk to all shops, galleries and restaurants in the historic district of Taos. House was furnished in great Southwest style. Beds were comfortable. Only issue is that the bed rooms are very dark. the wall sconces emit very little light and bedside lamps are not very bright either. Also this house appears to be able to be split up into 3 different rental units, so there are extra doors in the hallways that kind of got in the way.

Reviewer Comments: Our group of 4 had a lovely experience in this cozy (great electric fireplace) home on a quiet one-way street near the Taos Plaza (2 blocks away). We loved the focus on art in the house (if you like RC Gorman's art - apparently he lived in this house at some point), the beautiful kitchen, bedrooms, new bathrooms and garden/yard and hot tub. The housekeeper Linda was most helpful with advice on local restaurants and super responsive in our text communication. Highly recommend!

The home is in a great location, cozy, warm, clean, well furnished kitchen, private courtyard, outdoor seating, hot tub, & keyless entry. The home is on a nice, quiet street, a block from the plaza, near restaurants, shops, coffee, chocolate, & other necessities.
