”Our four night stay was lovely. The house is located in a beautiful valley with mountains to each side. Cows and sheep graze in the fields around the house. Thoroughly bucolic. The kitchen supplied everything needed. Our bed was comfortable. A bouquet of freshly picked flowers greeted us upon arrival. ”This lovely home was just perfect. Cosy and inviting right by the beach and grateful we could enjoy this with our dog. The views from the master just so relaxing and blissful to listen to the waves at night, and watch the sun rise. Birdlife galore, sweet garden and everything you could need, or a cafe just a five min bike ride away. Not flashy, but luxury in all the good ways! Thank you!”

”The communication about the layout of the property could have been better. There is no internal access to the downstairs rooms. There is no WIFI - in this day and age - you really should have WIFI (especially for when the weather is inclement in Golden Bay - which is often is). The TV is just a screen to play DVD's - there is no channel service. We weren't told you can't drink the water until the morning we got the check-in instructions - it was Easter Friday - so we couldn't buy bottled...

”Looks great online but the reality was quite a disappointment. The cabin was not as well appointed as I had thought given the cost, all a bit cheap and plasticky. The floor was sort of buckled and uneven in places and as such the door was a challenge to close. The container got quite hot as the weather was so good, but there was no air conditioning and no fly screens, so opening the windows meant I had to contend with some big bugs late at night (moths and cicadas).
