When we first discovered Tavira, it was love at first sight.

Its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful historic streets, outstanding restaurants and authentic Portuguese charm immediately captured our hearts. It inspired us to create the kind of place where we ourselves would love to spend time together – a stylish and peaceful retreat designed exclusively for couples.

Rather than maximising the number of guests, we made a conscious decision to maximise the quality of the experience.

Behind its traditional façade, you'll discover a home that has been thoughtfully restored and carefully redesigned with one purpose: creating an unforgettable stay for two. Instead of adding more beds, we chose to create more space. One of the original bedrooms was transformed into a spacious open gallery – a place to read, watch a movie, enjoy a glass of Portuguese wine or simply unwind after a day exploring Tavira.

One of the things we love most about the house is its exceptional location. Once you arrive, you can simply leave your car behind. Tavira's charming cobbled streets, wonderful cafés, many of the town's best restaurants and the ferry to the beautiful Ilha de Tavira are all just a short walk away. If golf is your passion, several excellent courses can be reached within a short drive.

After a day at the beach, exploring the town or enjoying a round of golf, return to your own private retreat. Start your mornings with a coffee on the patio, spend relaxed evenings in the gallery or enjoy dinner in one of Tavira's excellent restaurants just a few minutes away.
