”The property was totally fit for purpose and had all the amenities we needed. The beds were super comfortable. The only downside was that it did get a little noisy early on Monday morning as it is in an industrial area. We were woken by a noisy rubbish truck. Can't be helped though!”

”From the moment Jan met us and made us welcome we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is immaculate, romantic with fabulous views over the sea to the horizon. On our first day we could see the top of the South Island, Te Wai Pounamu and the Kaikouras.....heavenly. Jan and Doug had supplied essentials such as coffee and tea plus breakfast cereals and the pièce de rèsistance Doug's chutney. Thank you.”

”We stayed 3 nights with 4 kids aged 4 to 12 and this place was great because the 2 bed self contained sleepout provided a perfect retreat fir the kids while parents and our 4 yo relaxed in the main house with the cosy fireplace. Everything was setup nicely and well equipped with quality dishes and cutlery etc.Very happy with this little haven and highly recommend it.”
