”Everything was fantastic!!”

”All was excellent except I couldn't get the thermostat to work. It kept cooling and the only way that I could stop it was by turning it off. I reported it to the front desk but they couldn't fix it either. I will still stay there in the future.”

If they just invested some money and remodeled this would be an excellent Marriott property. Definitely bottom tier property for me but so grateful to be able to stay here last minute after I was booted out of my residence inn confirmed property two days before I arrived.”

”Unpleasant smell in the room. Property is dated and a bit beat up. Definitely not what I was expecting. Front desk staff was lovely. Guessing general neglect.”

”This hotel is still under construction while the room we were given was clean and pretty nice. The bed was hard. The television did not work. We went to the office, but it was never fixed when we got there. We were charged $100 deposit and and it was not refunded that they said we smoked me and my boyfriend don’t even smoke. They kept our deposit refused to give it back so don’t stay at this hotel in Merrillville. There are many other nicer friendlier hotels in the area.”

”It was clean, quiet, had a nice microwave and mini-fridge, comfortable bed and everything we needed. The only downside was the minimal breakfast that was served. The manager and staff were very helpful, kind, and friendly.”

”Bring some bug spray and your own bedding! Pictures on Expedia are either AI generated or were take. In 1992 when this place was built. It had a certain odor to it when walking in and when I got to my room that was labelled non-smoking it smelled as if someone had just been in there while smoking. I asked to get moved which reception did but the second room was on the second floor and there is no elevator. Was not an issue for me particularly but could be for others. Second room at least didnt...

”Residence Inn was very easy check-in. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Renovations were in process. Dishwasher was never bolted in so couldn't use. Even after calling maintance. They never showed up.”

”I was supposed to have a king size bed that was not a king size bed. The sofa bed that was in the room was real dirty look like it had bedbugs before they tried to switch me to another room that sofa bed was the same way the hotel is not the way it is presented online the morning when I woke up to take a shower the showerhead did not work. I had to stand up and take a bath. ”

”It was a very odd place. The check in check out counter is only open at certain times and look like a lot of people were living there instead of just staying there. The place was cheap I didn't see any bugs That's about the only thing it has going for it.”
