”Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location in the middle of the North York Moors National Park. The room was very clean, the linen of high quality and the bed was very comfortable. All the amenities worked. The rooms are above the pub so there was some chatter and music. This wasn’t a problem for me. The breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

”The bathroom shower head had rust on it. There was timescale on the shower basin. The shower screen has soap scum reminiants. Only 1 bath towel and face towel for a 2 night stay for 2 people. The pictures showed toiletries. There were none. The soap dispenser had been watered down. The young girl who appeared to be doing everything went to the shop to buy us a fresh hand soap. The bedding was all creased up and had not been ironed and the pillowcase covers had come away at the stitching....
