”Lovely property in a nice quiet spot in walking distance to lovely pun serving great food.”

”This is a mixed review. From the pictures given on expedia you are expecting a large hotel. It is not, it is a terraced house with multiple rooms in a run down area but having said that, the host was lovely, the property although needs work, is clean and tidy and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee and biscuits were a very nice addition. It has a large smart TV which has a great reception. I was pleasantly surprised”

”Ideally located on Yarm High Street. Clean and comfortable room and cottage. Helpful and friendly host.”

”We received a friendly welcome at the hotel and had the keys, layout and rules explained. Room was airy and a good size. Bed was comfy. As room was on road was a bit noisy with windows open. Very pleased and will recommend and use again in the future.”

”Location perfect for our day at the races. Staff all very friendly. Food in restaurant amazing. Bed not the comfiest but I do have a bad back. Room small but love the old style decor. Gave it character. Bathroom small.”

”Absolutely beautiful room was immaculate hot tub was gorgeous staff were lovely would highly recommend and be re booking ”

”First time at the guest house got a lot more bookings coming up”

”A comfortable stay in a clean, basic room. I was dropping my kid off at Durham, and needed an affordable, nearby place. This came up on an Expedia search. About 30min away from her college, and we took the opportunity to drive 5 min down to Horden Beach for a walk, which is lovely. We checked in at the bar, which was busy. They were not serving food, but encouraged us to get takeaway (there's a Chinese chippy next door) and provided us plates and cutlery. Their drinks are inexpensive. The...

”Great room, clean and tidy, just a bit noisy until closing time! Would stay again.”

”We had no running hot water other than the electric shower. No wardrobe just hangers on hooks. TV was the size of an iPad. Bottom bed sheet too small and forever coming off. Needs to be clearer when it states breakfast included but it is only cereal. Outside seating area not suitable as soiled with seagulls droppings”

”Great location & lovely spacious room. Communication was exceptional & everything was easy to understand. We would recommend staying here as it’s very quiet but so easy to get into Whitby & a few metres from the beach. We have already said we want to stay again.”

”I cant fault this stay in any way.location was perfect, amenities were spot on,and the wheel house, converted garage was done out emaculate with lovely add on,so.if I ever was stay in whitby again, this is where ide stay. Big thank you to the hosts.”

”Excellent stay and super breakfast prepared to order. ”

”Although a comfortable stay a few things were not to the standard that would warrant the room price. 1) only one pack of biscuits for two people not good 2) a significant number of cobwebs around the corners of the room, ceilings and floors 3) towels had marks on them 4) for a two night stay I would have expected the room to be cleaned, towels to be changed, clean coffee cups and coffee/biscuits replenished 5) no breakfast provided, I have stayed in cheaper places with breakfast provided. Even...

”We returned here this year after enjoyjng our stay last year and we were again very happy. The staff friendliness, lovely very comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfast did not disappoint. Being able to have dinner in the restaurant is a definate plus with not having to go out after a long day driving. We would definitely recommend staying here.”

”Quiet comfy large room. Food was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.”

”Mukava pieni hotelli upeilla näkymillä. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta. Hissin puute rajoittaa kulkemista painavien laukkujen kanssa. Suosittelen tätä hotellia, jossa auton saa parkkeerattua lähelle hotellia 50 pencellä.”

”Hiustenkuivain puuttui. Sijainti loistava. Vähän meluinen, omistajajien vauvat huusivat pienellä pihalla.”
