”A beautiful room, so relaxing. We loved it all. Only shame was that always greeted with empty reception, but didn’t have to wait too long x”

”Very good breakfast and personnel. Only the bananas were too raw or too old. Other than that, excellent.”

”Wonderful experience.”

”The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room we received was very comfortable and clean. Parking was available near the hotel.”

”Lovely stay - fast check in, great lunch in the restaurant and an even better breakfast was had. We got a b&b deal through Expedia which included a full continental breakfast for starters and then a hot meal. I had eggs Benedict and my husband had the full English. Very nice setting and outlook. Only downside is that the room gets very hot - had to use the fan all night. And then there were some noisy occupants above us who decided to put tv on around 2am!!”

”Very nice surprise with the location at the bottom of Roseberry Toppin , didn’t know about this until we arrived . The hotel is a treat to stay there. We were going to a friends house in Whitby and travelling from west of Scotland. Hence it was good to stop off , we visited Stokesley near bye and loved the English village life . We will stop here again and the cost was worth it.”

”Lovely property in a nice quiet spot in walking distance to lovely pun serving great food.”

”Room was nice and clean. Liked that there was a separate door you could use to go out and it from the hotel. Very dissapointed that they did not serve breakfast at the hotel dispite advertising it. Sunday roadt was amazing!”

”Beautiful grounds with lovely views of the wildlife in and around the lake. Very peaceful.”

”Lovely staff, friendly people. Huge carpark, reasonably priced bar. Comfy bed, loads of hot water and an actual bath! Close to town but lots of green around the hotel. Always first choice to stay here when we're visiting family in Boro”

”First impression was NOT good. Ignored by staff when we tried to check in to our room. NO parking outside the pub. I queried about it after we made the booking via their email but got no answer. The window in the room, old fashion style, was DANGEROUS, heavy to push up and difficult to open. The window was cracked so clearly someone had dropped it when trying to open it. Had to be propped open with a a wooden structure. Needed 2 people to do it. The kitchen fans were REALLY noisy, went on...

”The lady on reception last night was lovely. Showed us round the facilities and to my room. Bedroom was clean and tidy. Was going for an operation so want able to do breakfast but I’d definitely book again and bring my girls. The hotel was a lovely old manor style house with all its features.”
