”We stayed as a family with our 3 children for 24 nights and 25 days. Apart from the rude behavior and unbecoming attitude of the valet staff at the Residence Inn Berkeley, one of the most beautiful spots in the city, everything was wonderful. They don’t have their own parking and you can’t stay in the parking lot that belongs to the grocery store next door. We still managed to find good parking close and the car was safe. At a great central location - near 12th/oakland Bart stop, food, coffee, and a Walgreens within 10 minute walk. It can seem a little dicey at night so I wouldn’t recommend wandering the streets then.

”Great value, clean, well kept property. Staff were courteous and helpful. Free parking is an added bonus. Great location however sidewalks I'm this neighborhood might be tricky for some older adults to navigate, especially off a main strip. Great cafes across the street, and near freeways and public transport.”

”Everything was great until we needed to get our car from the valet. They had one person driving cars out from the garage (on a Sunday late morning) and it took over 30 minutes to get the vehicle. ”
