”We were blown away by our stay in this wonderful property. It is small boutique hotel which has been immaculately restored by the owners. We had a suite consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room. It was well equipped, warm and comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent Commodore Hotel and the food was very good. This is one of the best places we have stayed in on our Australia trip.”

”This place has character, lovely big old home. Our room was huge. Easy walk into town”

”Nice old hotel, unfortunately the beautiful balconies are not safe for guests. The first room we were offered had a strong smell of cleaning products and the windows didn’t open. However the helpful staff provided a different room which was very comfortable.”

”needs more amenities such tooth bush”

”This motel is not recently renovated but the rooms are very clean and very well maintained. Rooms are also quiet unless somebody speks on the corridors. One Indian family was making dinner at the corridor with noise at 9.45 pm but it wasn’t motels false of course. Kept voices down as mentioned to them about the issue. The family running the place is very friendly. The city provided many things to see and we found a very good restaurant too, which was exceptional combination along our route from...

”This place is perfect for the business traveller. Although parking is a bit of a squeeze, the rooms are spacious, comfy bed, have a great desk to work at, (no freezer in the fridge, though...) and walking distance to everything useful - supermarkets, food, pubs, banks and so on. This is not a 5 star rated premises (probably 3-4 star rating) but it is 5 star for the price. This will be my first choice in future when in Mount Gambier.”

”After a long drive felt like the perfect spot to stay the night. Rooma were very spacious and you could park your car in front of your room, thia was very convenient for us as we had a lot of stuff. Manages to have the pool area all to ourselves which was nice! Only negative things were that that we had to ask twice for the pool door to be opened when it was supposed to be open already. Plus not enough hot water in the bathroom. However, overall stay was very nice! Would recommend it!”

”Good stay”

”Clean room. We were in deluxe. Good value .”

”Good”

”Meillä olisi iso huone, aamiainen oli jääkapissa pakastettua pekoni, leipää marmelasia ja kanamunat.”

”Absolutely disgusting experience. We drove six hours to reach the accommodation, only to arrive and find the doors shut with nobody available to let us in. I am heavily pregnant, and to make matters worse, we were left stranded late at night, six hours away from home, with absolutely nowhere to stay. The accommodation was fully paid for and confirmed. We tried calling every number provided, sent messages and even contacted Expedia to try to get assistance. Not one person responded. We had done...

”This place was significantly better than expected. We were passing by and just needed a place to crash for one night, so we booked a cheap motel. Really happy we chose Blue Lake Motel. It's a stone's throw off the main road, which probably makes a world of difference -- we drove past a ton of motels which looked like they would be really noise since the rooms were like 10 meters off the street. Blue Lake is just far enough (like 200 meters?) to be extremely quiet. The room was actually really...
