”The gentleman at reception was very pleasant and welcoming and gave clear instructions re all the amenities and provided me with a bucket and two bags of ice. Even though close to the highway the room was quiet and all items functioned very well. The bed was excellent and the bathroom and room very clean. Great Place.”

”This is an historic hotel that has been upgraded to be clean and comfortable. That said, some details were overlooked. For example, one room didn't have any moisturizer. In another room, the heater in the bathroom didn't work. Some rooms had microwaves others didn't. A coffee creamer in one of the rooms was coagulated that is to say gone bad, but the beds were good. Everything was super clean, plenty of pillows and towels. The shower was good. There was hot water at the sink as well. Coffee tea...

”The house and our room were exactly as expected, full of charm and very comfortable. The staff we met were also just wonderful, so welcoming and accommodating. Make sure to review the hotel policies and open/closed amenities before you book (the website isn't clear on those). Additionally, I wish we had simple access to the in-room fridge (which apparently is for mini-bar items only) -- we love shopping local and often that includes perishables. ”
