”Gorgeous building with interesting historical links and facts. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey”

”Some road traffic noise but overall very good”

”Lovely place to stay, just a few mins walk from the centre of cheltenham. The couple that run it are very welcoming and the guest house immaculate. I would highly recommend. Thank you - Anne x”

”WiFi was not available, The Lodge WiFi did not exist when searched for. I missed a very important meeting due to this, this was one of the reasons we chose The Lodge.”

”Mukava, kotoisa ja siisti paikka, jossa myös hyvä palvelu, parkkitilaa, tilavat huoneet ja helpot yhteydet.”

”Very enjoyable stay. Didn’t see anyone else at all during our stay, but access to the property and to our room was very easy with Gabriella’s information she sent the day before arrival. House and room were lovely and warm on arrival. Breakfast was self service ~ very nice and well laid out Would certainly stay again. Very convenient NCP car park directly opposite , which was only £11.00 for overnight parking. Great location, easy walk to the centre and theatre.”

”Good sized room, nice quiet area but good location to visit a few of the other nice towns and villages”

”Beautiful inn and tea rooms. Loved my cute little room, than the back patio was so sweet and charming. Right near the Cotswolds way start/end point. Beautiful. Comfortable. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.”

”A literal 5-star stay. I immediate extended my stay upon arrival. Everyone is so lovely and the room itself is wonderful, spacious and clean. Thoughtful amenities such as milk alternative, coffee bags and light breakfast snacks. I’m already deciding when next to book my stay at 33.”

”This B&B was a nice surprise. The owner of the B&B welcomed us warmly and told some good tips what to see and eat in Bourton on the water. Breakfast was traditional English breakfast with ham and eggs. Would have stayed there another night but it was full booked the day after. This is the best B&B that you can find from Bourton on the water and I would recommend it truly.”

”Our room was lovely and comfortable. We were in the back of the building just off the garden (Brontë room) It was quiet and peaceful and a great place to relax after exploring the nearby towns and villages. Go early as the villages get crowded quickly and parking can be limited depending on the village. The only issue we had was breakfast was included with our stay but had difficulty finding it. It was located offsite a few minutes walk but I was only able to find this after googling other...

”Excellent communication Easy check in Great property, very central to be able to walk everywhere in Cheltenham. Would highly recommend. Only thing I would say for others is we presumed 3 bathrooms meant 3 toilets, however there is : 1 bedroom with an en-suite shower and two sinks. And then shared between the next bedroom is a tiny shower/ loo and sink. Ground floor there is a large bedroom and huge bathroom with shower and separate bath. We did not utilise the hot tub in the garden but it was a...

”What an idyllic delight!!! It’s an old home, but it was so comfortable! Our room was huge, and the breakfast buffet in the morning right outside our door was perfect. The tea & biscuits waiting for us in our room upon arrival were much appreciated, and I got to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life over the sheep fields.”

”Avonpark House is a very good travellers rest. Comfortable and clean, our room was a reasonable size as was the ensuite. It’s a walkable distance into the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good parking available and an excellent breakfast.”

”Stayed here for one night. Staff were really helpful, especially accomodating us for dinner. Great pizzas. Comfortable and clean room, but some of the decor showed some wear and tear.”

”Wonderful charming Inn, gorgeous rooms and dinner was incredible! Rooms can be a little noisy but it is an old building!”
