Peaceful getaway in TC is between Kemah and Galveston. It’s home to a large refinery and a 5miles man made fishing pier.
FAST EV CHARGER - Guests who stay here enjoy a quiet night after a long day at Schlitterbaun, the beach, Kemah boardwalk and all the bz activities 15-30mns from Kemah.
The house is directly across the office of TX City Housing Authority. It’s very safe and owner. Also the all the school buses from the town are parked near this home. Lots of security and police supervision. Very quiet town pretty much asleep after 9:30pm
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place.

Literally 2 miles from Texas City beach near the dike.

Located 10mns to other beaches (Galveston and Kemah) and the shopping outlets. Quiet and beautiful town after a sunny beach day.
The space
Cozy and quiet place, excellent opportunity to sleep well very little light pollution.

Texas City as a town goes to sleep around 8:30/9pm.

Very safe with police a few miles away.

Did not stay, area unsafe for two elderly ladies. People arguing in front of the house on the street. Due to the area and fighting in the street we were forced to book elsewhere. Asking for full refund!

Great communication! Good value for us for a holiday visit to our adult children in the area. It had everything we needed. We were impressed by the night show of nearby refineries. The evening fog during our visit showcased the burnoff stacks. Texas Ave. and Hwy 3 provide cool night views of refineries. Access to getting around town and the area is great. We would stay again!

The house looks like its been renovated fairly recently. Appliances & most furniture still have the tags & surface protectors. It has a full kitchen, 2 bedroom 1 bathroom & a dining area & a nice little front porch.This place is good for the cost, but I do think it needs a deep clean. There are random clothes in drawers & trash in others. We were asked to put a load of laundry in the dryer during our stay, no big deal but still worth mentioning. The neighborhood, while mostly quiet, is right in the housing authority neighborhood. People speed down the road like crazy & on our second night we heard gunshots twice, about 45 minutes apart. Other than that & the dirty mop bucket left in the kitchen, the stay was great. The AC gets cold, the fridge makes ice, beds are comfy & the location is perfect for going to Galveston or Kemah. This was a good stay for the price for 2 nights.The owner was responsive & fair.

Overall, we had a good experience. The home is older but well-decorated and laid out nicely. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy at first—the entrance it’s located in a back alley in a more industrial area—but it was quiet and well-kept with no issues during our stay.The home is very close to being perfect but could use more attention to detail. When we arrived, the front porch was cluttered, floors were dirty (we had to sweep), and the stove and fridge/freezer weren’t clean. There was also a glass with dirty tissue left near the TV. The bathroom had several partially used soap and shampoo bottles, which gave it a lived-in feel. There wasn’t a liner in the bathroom, not a problem we used our own.The biggest issue was a surprise visit from a service tech to check the AC. We received a message just 5 minutes before he arrived. This was unprofessional and disruptive—guests shouldn't have to deal with maintenance during a paid stay. That visit should have been arranged before or after our trip, or at least discussed with us in advance. The host acted like it was not a big deal...It is!We followed all the checkout instructions, but it would’ve been nice if the same level of care was taken to prepare the home before we arrived. With a little more cleaning and better communication, this place could be exceptional.

We had a fairly good first jight besides feeling slightly unsafe in the area which was ok, after all we did choose the location however the second day, the ac stopped working and would not cool down the house, saying a wire was not connected properly and received minimum help with no offer of a refund when we chose to leave due to the house being 87 inside.and we received
