”We had a heartwarming welcome and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend to everybody. The chalet we stay was very clean and spacious, and with a fabulous view over to the sea. Breakfast really good, and served when we wished for. Rachel and his husband were extremely nice people.”

”Its a Beautiful position on the beach front, with a view from the bedroom and deck out front. Its old school. The place is comfortable, suited what we wanted for a few night's away. With a well equipped Kitchen if you like to cook. The owner's communicated effectively. I'd welcome another opportunity to stay again. It's a popular location due to the geo thermal. The owner's provided good information about experiencing this. The Beach has wonderful sunrises.”

”Great place , classic kiwi batch with a nice kitchen and dishwasher! which was a nice surprise. Well laid out , good shower , comfy lounge ,comfy beds, beautiful views of hillside and estuary. Good parking, nice neighbors. Advice you take your own big umbrellas for shade on deck. Can park a 6mtr boat on grass then 2 to 3 vehicle's. Only con would be no details on rubbish collection. We found the pamphlet on the last day. Tairua is awesome, not has busy as Whiti or Pauanui but still has...

”The photos look really nice so it was a little bit of a surprise when we arrived to see it what it was actually like. Mould on the textured ceiling in the bedroom and found a flea in one of the beds (after waking up with bite marks), we don't have any pets so we definitely didn't bring it with us. The unit was full of the owners stuff which cluttered an already small space and made it difficult to find a place to put things. The carpet in the bedroom looked to be original and everything felt...

”The Lookout was perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the location, and the view over the ocean was pure magic. The property was secluded and it had everything we needed. Cleanliness could have been slightly better but this didnt hinder our stay. We would definitely come back!”

”The place was quite well equipped, except from a vacuumcleaner. If the owners pay Bachcare to look after this property, Bachcare should be ashamed of themselves. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 nights, 4 people. An empty soap dispenser in the bathroom. Superficially clean, but don't look under the chairs, or in the drawers and cupboards. Sticky dust around the tv, and on top of the washing machine. Stuff lying around randomly in drawers. It really needs a good scrub all over, including the windows...
