”Mr. Flores, our gracious host greeted us on arrival and for us comfy in our room with orientation of hotel and area. Lots of upgrades since our last visit, with big, private bathroom, comfy bed, A/C, small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and small deck looking out to Caribbean Sea. Close to all Dangriga services. We had a Wonderful stay and will definitely come back.”

”I booked thru this site on November 15th for Barana hotel and when I got there I was told that I was the 3rd person that day that showed up with our reservation and there was no reservation booked with the hotel. The hotel has no information of the booking. He then asked me to pay him directly for a room that night. He also mentioned that the hotel do not have any business with hotels.com. I would like my 81$ back please and thank you. ”

”I love the food, clean room, friendliness and proximity to the beach. I didn’t like that the property is very dark at night. Had a great stay.”

”It is an older hotel, so that was a bit of a shocker for us at first. But the location was great and after the receptionist changed our rooms we were quite happy, we got a bigger room with a smaller shower, (not to small) and shady outside sitting area, we were quite happy. The room and bathroom were clean, and because we only stayed 2 days we did not need the room-service. They did bring beach towels and emptied garbage. The breakfast was good and plenty, People lovely, and a superb location. ”

”After we arrived we straight bookend third night. Could stay longer! Whole Hopkins area were nice, good restaurants and friendly helpful people there. It’s safety to hitchhike there. Very nice people at the hostel too, nice shared areas. Easy to get to Cockscomb in the jungle to maybe see some jaguars. No AC at rooms so that’s something you need to get along without.”

”The penthouse was an excellent option for our family- the well apportioned kitchen was great as we did get tired of overpriced resort food. In general this was a perfectly good beach resort in a pretty quiet corner of Belize. The excursions were excellent and well staffed. We loved that they did toasted marshmallows on the beach at sunset and the diving platform was a hoot.
