”The Over the Moon Cottages are an excellent location for convenience of being close to downtown Bala amenities and direct access to the lake across the road. We stayed in Unit #4 which was a one bedroom and more than enough space for the two of us. The only hiccup we experienced was no working wifi on the first day which was resolved by the owner for our second morning. ”What an amazing place. Located right on the lake with your own mini beach and dock to jump off. I loveed the split with bedroom being upstairs with the fantastic lake view. Very comfortable queen bed and a great tiled shower with lots of hot water! Great bonus besides the bbq and firepit (wood supplied) were the stars at night, it's been a very long time since i've seen the Milkyway and that many. Definitely a bookmark and a place I'll be going back too!!”

”We were really happy with our 3 night stay - our kids shared the room with the bunk beds while the two adult couples split up the remaining two rooms. We spent most of our time out at the dock - swimming, fishing and kayaking. Only minor point for improvement is the need for a few more outdoor chairs but otherwise the property was fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen made the experience seamless. We'd definitely book again.”

”Nice spacious and updated cottage. Great for large groups. A lot of outdoor seating space. In need of a little bit of TLC; some dock lights not working, lots of cobwebs, hot tub needing cleaning. Owners were very responsive and quick to address some things that needing taking care of.”

”This beautiful cottage is on a beautiful property with excellent privacy. It has all of the necessities and canoe,paddle board and kayak. It is a gem. The wraparound deck with the large hammock was a favourite of ours during our stay. The dock was reached with ease and was very large with lovely views of the lake. ”The location is good. Close to the beach and grocery store. The swim area access slippery and rocky so I recommend to bring water shoes. The lake is not too busy with motor boats so we were able to catch some fish. The hosts were nice and responsive. Overall nice stay.”

”Beautiful cottage on a beautiful location. The boat house allowed us to remain shaded ( or out in the sun) so that we could watch our children enjoy the water trampoline, fish off of the dock, use the paddle board, canoe or kayaks. We had our own boat so added activities were water skiing and wake boarding. Never a dull moment! So many memories.”
