”We had a wonderful overnight in Belize City at the Palms. If we had more time we would have definitely stayed longer.”

”Beautiful apartment, clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and toiletries. There are little markets along the street and a large supermarket a few minutes drive away. We had a car during our stay so we were able to get to Belize city in about 15 minutes. I would definitely stay here again.”

”Every review is pretty spot on. I was first greeted by the amazing Andean and her friendly staff. Free parking and secured. Huge clean room with balcony facing the ocean. AC was working. I ate twice at Midtown (the stew chicken is so yummy!) and had a breakfast at Ochuna downstairs. Both very good. I walked the first night to the museum and I felt safe. Yes there’s only one chair but I was solo so it didn’t bother me. There was some noise in the park and next door but it was on Saturday but...

”I had a very disappointing experience at this property and would not recommend it. The overall condition of the property was far below what was advertised. It is clear that the place has not been properly cleaned or maintained for quite some time. There was visible dust buildup throughout the property, including vents and surfaces, which made the environment feel dirty and neglected. There were also serious maintenance and safety concerns. ”We were diverted here for 1 night when the Roatan airport closed due to heavy rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's bare bones room, no coffee maker or safe, no elevator. We just needed a place not far from the airport for a quick one night stay. ”

”I had an excellent stay at Belcove Hotel. Very close to the water taxi terminal and very easy to walk there. The staff was very communicative through messages, and my room had excellent air conditioning and a clean bathroom. It also has a fridge and a nice terrace over the creek which was nice to look out from. They also sell cold water which was very helpful to me.”

”The room was not the most updated. A little dirty on the floor so we kept our socks and shoes on. The food at the restaurant we had this one dish that said it was mildly spicy and ended up being a seven out of five and the shrimps were cooked to the point where they were unrecognizable. But all that said, it was truly a two star hotel for a night before we headed over to San Pedro for the week.”

”Located close enough to the ferry terminals, helpful staff and the room is more than suitable to the price. Neighborhood is a bit shabby but that goes for most of belize City. Not for honeymooners, but a good place for those passing through.”

”I had such a wonderful stay and experience at this cozy little place. It was close to the water taxi, small street vendors and great restaurants. Debra and staff went above and beyond. ”We only stayed one night but it was very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room and were close to the restaurant (that's across the street). Nice location near the lighthouse and Belize sign, plus walking distance to the "downtown" and bus terminal. ”
