”I never received any check-in information from the guest house, and I had to call them twice before I could get in. All the keys were just hanging there in the lobby with no staff around, I could've gone into any room I wanted. Once that was done though, the room was nice if tiny, and the bed was comfy. Slept like a log. ”

”The food was some of the best we have ever eaten - delicious and freshly made. The room however was disappointing- clearly see some improvements but masking tape around the towel rail - holes in the wall in bathroom and bathroom door handle broken - cleanliness could have been better - toilet lid and seat had dirt in it and the ledge under the towel rail was full of dust and hairs - towels provided had stains on and holes in them - can’t complain regards to staff and service and the food all...

”The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences.”

”A lovely property in beautiful grounds. The hosts Su and Paul were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. A nice touch was the honesty bar which was well stocked. Breakfast was lovely and more choice than most hotels. I would reccomend a stay to anyone. Thanks Martin and Glennis”

We enjoyed the secluded garden overlooking the golf course and the frequent sightings of squirrels, moorhens, pheasants and deer.”
