”It is a little off of the beaten path, but that was exactly what we were looking for. Wilhelm, one of the owners, personally greeted us and gave us a tour of the grounds and showed us to our rooms. He also welcomed us to breakfast, took our orders and delivered our food. He is very proud of his establishment! It is close to several tourist attractions (Poulnabrone Dolmen, Ailwee Caves and Newtown Castle).”

There were plenty of plugs for charging devices. There was an in room safe. The only thing our room lacked was drawers (Our friends’ room did have drawers.) The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is well located, near downtown without being on a loud street. We would definitely recommend the Galmont and would stay there...
