”Fantastic hotel. We were greeted with a gift (specialty labeled beer/wine for the hotel) and at the time of our arrival the chef was making brats complimentary for guests on the patio. The room was perfect and we were able to walk 3 directions to get to anything we wanted to do, the 4th side backs up to the mountains and nature.”

”Lovely historical hotel. Room was nicely appointed. There is an elevator ( surprising for an older hotel) it is locked down in the evening tho. Casino in the lobby but that is typical for Deadwood. ”

”Deadwood is a vibe and Rocksino put us in the center of it all. Loved the room and the coffee maker. Having a casino in the hotel was fun but also low-key. I recommend this property for an above average experience!!”

”The room was large and quiet, and they started breakfast a little early for those of us doing the Mickelson Fall bike ride and helped point us in the direction of food.”
”It was in a quiet location with a running brook. Offered trolley to downtown. Very comfortable beds. Cinnamon rolls were fabulous! Would stay here again.”

”What friendly staff, such a change to be treated like a guest 😊they even had fresh coffee in the morning!
The onsite restaurant was a little pricey and on the slow side. To get to the heart of historic downtown they say they offer a shuttle but it was very off schedule and not reliable. We used a cab and it wasn’t too expensive.

”Breakfast was perfect, quiet and all top notch continental breakfast foods. Friendly staff we met at the hotel and next door restaurant. Only difficulty for my husband was the slick tub with no grab rail.”
