”Everything worked out fine. The beach was within a short walk and could be seen if you sit on the walkway/balcony. Just remember, the older retro motels may not have elevators if you have knee or back problems.Check in was very pleasant with a sweet young lady making sure everything was explained in a friendly manner. ”We were upgraded from a standard room to a suite because the room was not completely cleaned. The suite was clean and comfy. All the staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Great location for walking to restaurants and shopping. I would recommend Hampton Inn Amelia Island Historic Harbor Front to family and friends. We really enjoyed our stay.”

”Leticia at the front desk was fantastic! I had a health related attack on the way back from Atlanta and we decided to stay at the Ritz so I could rest.
We stayed at this Ritz on our honeymoon over 30 years ago, had my 50th birthday party at Salt with guests for a weekend, stayed there for our 30th wedding anniversary and had dinner at Salt also (I highly recommend Salt), stayed many holidays with our children and friends, car shows, and it is still such a wonderful resort.
