”St. Marys is a beautiful small town on the water, and the Spencer Inn was the perfect place to stay. The accommodations were wonderful, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious, with cold and hot options. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Wonderful stay. ”

”It was a pleasant surprise. It’s not fancy but clean, bed and shower were good. Breakfast was almost very tasty, and overall better than I expected considering the money spent.”

” Very disappointed with check-in. We did arrive at 230 for 300 check in at 400 we were still waiting and was told they were waiting for rooms to be ready. After multiple times inquiring about room we were told they would upgrade and gave us room on 6th floor. A few of the check in agents were not very friendly. Breakfast staff was great. Facility was clean. ”

”I think of a Ritz Carlton as an over the top experience but I feel the Amelia Island Ritz is underwhelming. With all resort fees, parking cost etc., the nightly room charge was $1400. That is no food or activity charges. We were disappointed their “Salt” restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday so did not get to eat there. Other eating options are fine but not special by any means.”

Within walking distance of the beach and several restaurants and shops and within a short driving distance to many others.”

”Hire a maintenance person! Breakfast was terrible! Poor selections and not very much if a selection.”

”Breakfast appeared fresh. Staff polite and helpful. Clean room BUT - the shower floor was extremely slick!!! I had to constantly hold onto the bar in the shower to maintain my balance and even then, I was very afraid of falling!!! I had to straddle the outer edges of the shower floor to brace myself. ( just get a visual on that - funny to read about but not funny to experience). As much as I like the hotel and I would like to stay here again on my travels, but I don’t know if I will because...

”I’m gonna be real… I wouldn’t recommend this place unless it’s an emergency or you’re really on a budget. In my room, the only things that worked were the water and the AC. TV didn’t work, the floor felt sticky, and the place just looked worn out and not clean. Customer service was poor, no effort at all. And the area around it doesn’t feel safe either. I wouldn’t come back. Not recommended.”
