”Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again”

”The motel was next to the Manapouri lake and there was a very nice view to the lake from the rooms. The rooms were quite basic but all right for two nights (we visited the Doubtful Sound from Manapouri -- and that was great!) The breakfast options were quite good. WiFi hardly worked from the room but was all right in the reception area.”

”We chose this location as we knew it would be a bit quirky, and it definitely delivered on this. The check in time was chaotic, with only one person and a short time period to arrive, lots of campers without reservations were queueing up to be booked in. Our motel unit had all the amenities we needed, with a full kitchen. The shower was hot, with good water pressure, all good as long as you aren't too tall. ”Short walking distance to shops and amenities. Easy to park. Fairly spacious room with all the basic utensils you need. Comfy bed and sofa. Ample towels and flannels. Friendly check in staff. Only downside was the wet room style shower. Just not our preference having a permanently wet bathroom floor, even with the fan on constantly.”

”Nice villa, but the bathroom was in need of renovation. Pool and barbecue area and pathways were not very welcoming (concrete). Good breakfast. Good location.”
