”Unbelievable romantic countryside hotel with 3 different buildings. We stayed at the mainhouse wing. Great food from own gardens and local farmers. Goo service too. Highly recommended as their Epicerie on the other side of the street!”

The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station.”

”Beautiful property great location. My major issue was with the air-conditioning. There was none. It was a hot day in Amboise and the room was stifling. I opened the window to cool down but got bit by mosquitoes. I spoke to the front staff who said their heating and cooling were an eco-friendly system that didn’t work well on extreme temperature days. Other than that lovely day.”

”This is a super charming small hotel (10 rooms) in a quiet area of Amboise yet still just a few blocks from the Palace and other great sites. The staff is OUTSTANDING. Jean Jacques the owner greeted us at check in with an employee named Angel. He recently purchased the hotel and Angel joined his team this week. He obviously cares deeply about the place and makes sure you have everything you need. When he is not there Angel was terrific. She also cared about everything that happens at the...

”Hotels.com did not request advance payment of 30%, but the hotel insisted it. After all we were invoiced that amount. We had to proof the payment done at the hotel, because Chissay hotel front desk did not have info of our downpayment (we sent several reminder e-mails and one phone call to get confirmation of the pre payment).
