”I absolutely love the style of this property and garden. It is very relaxing and we were lucky to have all the common areas to ourselves being the off season. ”
”Very nice B&B in scenic, peaceful town of Stanley. Rhonda & Chris are gracious hosts who provide excellent service and maintain the facility in pristine condition. The amenities are modern and the tasty breakfast is served in a cozy dining room. We enjoyed our stay at The Ark and would have loved to stay longer ”
”We stayed in the studio cottage. It is with good ambiance and very spacious unit with full stocked kitchen facilities. The sea view is excellent and all made our stay very pleasant.
There was a recent ownership transition and check in was through a phone call. We booked another unit originally with welcome gift and that was changed and we only found out after checking in. The new owner called and apologised and promised some compensation but never heard again.
There was no instruction on WiFi...

vicinity, a few restaurants and cafes in walking distance make this a perfect place for a family holiday. Nightly penguin visits by the shore. A very interesting Highfield Historic Site is worth a visit (5 mins drive), so is Dipp Falls about 40 mins drive away.”
”The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around.
It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley. ”
”Loved my little get away. Beautiful little part of Tassie. Fantastic friendly service. Carolyn lent me her own personal phone charger for the duration of my stay ( forgot mine ). Lots of easy walking tracks around the river. Will definitely be back .
