”We visited this new hotel / time share villas during the beginning of the South African winter. Understandably, the insulation is not something that we have used to in Finland, but with air conditioner the temperature of the room was ok. The fuse of the air con just had to be fixed, which happened very quickly after our call to reception. The staff was very friendly and special thanks to kitchen (waiter + cook), who helped to get us some snacks just after the kitchen was closed.”

”very nice surprise, a lot of history to the place especially if you are into the anglo boer war, Paul Kruger etc. Met the owner, Robert Forsyth, very nice and friendly person, full of knowledge about South African History. The room we were in was very spacious, it also included a sizeable bathtub. There are 60 something rooms in the lodge but they appear to be spread out as I only saw maybe a dozen which made the place very private. ”Room clean and comfy. Food was very good. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing. There was a problem with the pool and out of use but the staff were very helpful and cleaned the pool which enabled us to use.”
