”It’s a basic hotel. The woman at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. Parking was easy. The hotel is right off the highway and there are gas stations, restaurants and fast food easily accessible by car. The room was clean. Adequate place to lay your head. The shower/ tub wasn’t draining so we opted not to use the shower - we were there for one night - after our concert we realized the tub didn’t drain - we prioritized sleep over calling for someone to try to fix it. ”Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

”This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”
