”Beautiful place with a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Dimitri was gracious and knowledgeable about the house and town history. Loved it!!!”

”This recently remodeled motel was completely charming. We had a room accessible directly from the parking lot, and it was decorated beautifully. The nautical theme extended throughout. The bathroom was large, beautifully tiled, and perfectly functional. Towels were changed daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable with nice cotton sheets. We would stay there again.”

”This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.”

”The room wasn’t cleaned properly. There was long white hair all over the carpet, black hair on the sink and on the shower wall”

”The room itself was clean, the bed also seemed clean. There is no refrigerator/microwave. The biggest issue I had was with the bed, the bed needs a big upgrade. Every movement you would hear the metal springs crying out, I'm not sure if it's springs inside the mattress or the box spring, but it was annoying and uncomfortable.”

”Staff was very helpful and assist with fixing the tv in our room immediately.”

”Check in and check out Staff at front desk was very rude . Room service don’t clean well at all shower was dirty never changed the sheets . If I could give this place a 0 I would!”

”The room had cobwebs in every corner, wall paper peeling off the wall, furniture broken, door to the room was broken, the rug was coming up, tv didn’t work. They don’t clean your room daily and do they not bring new towels when you request or care that things are broken or don’t don’t work.”

”Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

”It was a very nice room, comfortable bed. Didn’t have a hairdryer but they were prompt to respond. We weren’t sure what it would be like when we first drove in, and we were pleasantly surprised.”
