”Do not stay here”

”I was not allowed to check in because I wouldn’t send a deposit via Zelle to the property managers, although Expedias rules strictly express not sending payments outside of the platform. Now I’m being told I can’t get a refund, although the property owner violated the policy.”

”Tullessani puolen yön aikaan hiukan tyly vanhempi mies vastaanotossa ei hyväksynyt luttokorttejani, jotka kyllä kävivät seuraavassa hotellissa ja autovuokraamossa, vaan jouduin maksamaan käteisellä. Hotellissa ei ole hissiä ja portaat kapeat ja jyrkähköt. Hiukan nuhraantuneessa huoneessa oli uutta ikkunat, ilmastointilaite ja televisio. Aamiainen ei kuulu hintaan, mutta alhaalla oli huone, jossa oli jääkaappi omien eväiden säilytykseen ja mikroaaltouuni, sieltä sai myös aina kahvia....

”Hyvä hostelli keskeisellä paikalla. 2h Huoneessa ei ollut erillistä ilmastointia, joten kesällä hieman kuuma. Aamupalalla mukava seurata kaupungin eloa. ”

”Tyttären kanssa asuimme kahden makuuhuoneen asunnossa. Tilaa ja omaa rauhaa oli mukavasti. Keittiössä oli kaikki tarpeellinen, mutta astioita olisi voinut olla enemmän, ettei olisi tarvinnut pestä niitä niin usein. Kylpyhuoneet vaatisivat perusteellisempaa suursiivousta. Kuntosali oli kookas ja välineitä riittävästi.”

”Needed a budget place for just sleeping in a central Chicago. For that purpose excellent choice due its location (metro + walking distace everywhere). Quiet+clean hotel and safe location. The attached pub on the street level is nice. Would come next time for a similar trip. Would need a bit of renovation already and definitely more power sockets around the room table ;) Some coffee to go and small stuff to eat in the lobby during mornings would be great. ”

”Loved the location and the room was clean and comfortable. However, check in was at 3. We got there right at 3 and had to wait more than an hour for our room to be “inspected.” There were lots of guests in this situation for hours. The desk staff was nice, and I hope this was a fluke, but it ate into our time visiting the city. Breakfast was great one day, but not as well stocked the next. Overall, I would stay here again if in the area and needed a room with two beds and a pullout couch, but...

”Nice clean motel in the downtown of CHI. Cheap parking 29 $/day. Lot of restaurants nearby.”

”Beautifully renovated hotel with close access to everything. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The only issue was that when rooms were cleaned they made the bed emptied the trash and replenished towels but did not remove and replace dirty glasses and mugs or wipe down bathroom sink and coffee station area in our room.”

”First hostel stay. I’m sure it’s a very nice hostel but the hostel experience is not for me. I did not like the shared bathroom and showers. In my opinion, these should be like a home bathroom / shower…shared consecutively, not concurrently. You’re also at the mercy of the laziest and most slovenly traveler who refuses to clean up after themselves in the public spaces. I really dislike having to clean a toilet or a sink before I can use. I also think the single lounge on the first floor is...

”I enjoyed my stay here. Clean room, well maintained property and great location just 3 miles from Chicago. The best part was the friendly staff. The breakfast was a 4.5 out 5, just adequate foe the day's need, nothing super special. I would definitely return.”
