Oddly people who book on Hotels.com are the ones that leave us bad reviews. Does that speak to our motel or the people who use hotels.com? We think it's the people who use Hotels.com are of a certain demographic that they do not like small towns and small business. Safe travels and I suppose if you use Hotels.com you may want to find a different motel, city and even state?

Unless your wife fishes of course :) Guess it's true, we are a little small town Wyoming motel. We've tried to make it as nice as we can. Sorry for the disappointment, hope you can find a place nice enough next time!

I regret you had to wait and offer my apologies. We are a small motel, in our email we welcome guests to call or email us with their check in time, or check in between 4-8pm. We offer river shuttles, have a small fly fishing store, do guided fly fishing trips and more and are always running around!Regardless, we wish this wouldn't have happened. Safe travels!

Dear Anonymous, You are correct...we are essentially a motel that appeals to pet owners, outdoor/water enthusiasts, hunters and fishing folks. We sit 1/4 mile away from one of the worlds best trout streams and the world famous FREE Hot Springs state park. When you allow our furry friends and the outdoor enthusiasts to stay with you, it does wear and tear the place up a bit faster than a "normal" motel/hotel. We can't change the carpet out every year and keep fair rates, but to address your concern we swap out carpet on a 3 year cycle. Greatly appreciate the chance to explain this as it's probably hard to see this much info on the booking sites. Take care!

Dear Adam, Sounds like you are not having the best trip, we hope it gets better. I did want to personally thank you, as good portion, almost 40%, of your payment to us, went to paying our 2 employees a living wage. Inflation sucks for all of us, good luck out there. Safe travels,

Dear Austin, You called to change your booking the night of. We agreed, but we had to charge you because it was less than 24 hours. You asked for the date to be the 11th of January. All good we thought. We charged your card as we told you we would, then you left a bad review? We called to find out why, reminded you of your new reservation of the 11th. In that conversation you asked to cancel the reservation and get your money back. Sorry your dates did not work out, but we held two different nights for you that we ended up not being able to rent to other people. Take care.
