”Everything was nice”

”The room was clean, the staff was friendly, check-in was very convenient and the whole experience was what I have come to expect when I stay at Laquinta. And that is why I stay here.”

”We were very disappointed with our recent stay. The pool was dirty, and on the first morning there were no breakfast items available. We were told the delivery truck hadn’t arrived, but our college reunion had been booked months in advance, and there were more than 15 people in our group staying at the hotel. The pool situation was especially concerning. Several members of our group ended up cleaning the pool themselves and even contacted a local pool company to test the water to ensure it was...

”No amenities. Budget motel on side of interstate, clean and quiet property with friendly staff, though a little outdated and patched over as cheaply as possible. A no-frills option for an evening stopping thru if you don’t want to drop a lot of coin.”

”Had to ring bell several times and called front desk several times before a man strolled his way up the hall to assist me and a line of people behind me. Man seemed disconnected with reality and if someone if going through something that bad they need not be at work or either he hates his job and needs to find his happiness elsewhere.”

”I have stayed at this motel in the past, when it was under different ownership and management, and the improvements were quite surprising. In the past rooms were at a barely acceptable level of clean, there were usually not enough towels, soap, shampoo, coffee etc. This time however, my room was VERY clean, fully stocked with everything that one would expect when renting a room. The microwave and refrigerator were in good working order (not always the case at my previous visits a few years ago)....

”Poorly maintained”

”For a single person looking for a cheap stay ($53 on Expedia, June 2026), I can't complain much. $53 dollars--really--tough to beat. The king bed was nice. But I wouldn't stay here with kids. Toilet rocks back and forth. No breakfast or lobby coffee. Surfaces and edges of the room worn. Bright lights outside. Local Mexican restaurant said to be "the best" was bad. Having stayed in Clinton several times before, I know that the Super 8 is much nicer, if more expensive.”

”It is a little run down and the road construction is a bit of a hassle. Plan extra time leaving. The water slide is seasonal and was not open nor was the pool. It is in a separate building. The parking was ample and it is easy to park near your room. Staff very nice and kind. Seems a little overpriced for what you get given the rooms are kind of old and worn. The bed was springy and uneven and there was a hole in the sheet.”
