”The tent itself was nice and clean, and the property generally seemed nicely maintained. Unfortunately a ferocious howling wind blew up unexpectedly, which ripped open the tent's door flap (which we'd had cinched down tightly) and throttled the roof canvas; the cold of that wind blew through the additional door curtain and every space that wasn't solidly closed.
We also had the vague expectation we could find something to eat that wasn't gas station food or a way to cook something--Ballard's...

”My stay at the Preston / Nutter House was excellent! It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The owner was informative and quick to respond to my questions. Close to Moab & hiking trails, like 35-40 mins away, the drive scenic was enjoyable. The last night there we were able to do a firepit and just enjoy the clear night sky with stars, it was beautiful. Highly recommended.”

”Pretty sketchy, but cheap. They tried to give me smoking room, they said it wasn’t a smoking room but it had an ash tray and reeked. Finally got a nonsmoking room but they were very difficult about it. Looks like it’s about to be condemned but it had a bed and bathroom that worked ”
