Glamping in Amish Country

This cozy, yurt style accommodation is the perfect way to let it all go and reconnect with nature. Just 3 miles from Unity, ME, & 20 minutes from coastal Belfast, Maine, this location offers all of the benefits of nature while still providing the basic benefits of modern living. While electricity and running water aren’t available, clean water for showering and washing is. All of the lighting is solar/rechargable & the toilets are clean, eco-friendly outhouses. All of the dwellings are either waterfront or a stone’s throw from it. A 5 acre pond that’s bursting with large mouth Bass, Crappie, Bluegill and Sunfish is at your fingertips and with a dock, Canoes & a paddle boat there’s no excuse to not catch all of the fish you desire. The only sounds you’ll hear are ducks, eagles, owls, peepers/frogs and the occasional clip clop of horses pulling the Amish’s buggies down the gravel road. Just bring your food, fishing gear and drinking water and let me do the rest. Sorry, but catch & release only but CATCH you will, guaranteed!!
