”We were so pleased to finally stay at the Windmill we’d first seen on Villages by the Sea and again from the North Norfolk Railway. It’s a remarkable building, and you can really appreciate how much care and investment must go into maintaining it. ”Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub. Excellent and helpful staff. Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather).. There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’ The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage).”

”Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...
