”Not going to lie, I was a little worried because Best Western can be hit or miss. However, I was extremely surprised! The rooms were bigger than the pictures and very clean and modern. (We always check the beds before getting settled!) We are definitely going to stay here again!”

”Sad having to leave a less than acceptable review. Room is filthy, mainly the floors. Do not walk around barefoot or in white socks. They’ll absolutely turn black!! The continental breakfast was trash!!! Only thing available both days was waffle mix. They were completely booked out for some conference so those folks emptied everything early. They don’t seem to refill anything. Wound up going to Perkins across the lot instead. Don’t be fooled by “breakfast included” claims. Will need a new spot...

”Camelot is a very nice hotel in a beautiful location! Check in was very smooth - since I arrived late, my key was waiting on the desk for me! My 2 room suite was very clean with a comfortable queen bed. An evening snack and a muffin and coffee for breakfast were an added bonus. My only disappointment was that the cute bar was already closed so I couldn't have a nightcap! I will definitely stay here again!”

”Parking was fine. Breakfast was very good. Bed sheet on one bed was just about threadbare, and a used pillowcase remained in the bed. Other bed was perfect. Bathroom was very clean. Overall, pretty good.”

I read some of the diary entries in our room and it seems that a lady named Lisa was the driving force making this place wonderful but with the end of 2025 the downward trend began. ”The bathroom is small and pooly arranged. The shower valve is out of reach, you must step into the shower stream to turn it on. Pretty awful. The shower handle fell off in my hand. The batroom sink is not in the bathroom. The toilet backed up. There was no maintenance person. I was given a plunger to fix it myself. The plunger was broken and did not work. I asked for another room, which they gave me. Then they took it back and said we could use the lobby restroom. We will definitely never stay...

”This property was great! We are already talking about going back during the summer. The highlight of our trip was the lake beach. Our kids enjoyed it, as we were lucky to have very nice weather in April. They got to play in the shallow end! The property itself is very clean, modern, and cozy. The property owner was very responsive leading up to our trip and during our stay! We had a great, relaxing getaway and didn’t want to leave. We hope to return soon! ”
