”My husband and I stayed at the lovely cottage in Grassington. It was just ideal for us. We really did not use the kitchen much as there were so many nice options for breakfast and lunch in town. Everything was easy walking distance including access to lovely hiking trails just a short wander not far from the unit’s front door. Everything was very comfortable & immaculate. Would definitely return. ”

”The property was as described and pictured on the website. The cottage was spotless and the host was friendly and helpful, and responsive to our requests. ”Very helpful, we were going to be later than anticipated arriving, phoned to let them know, they reassured us it was no problem, everything was ready for our stay. Check-in at the bar was easy, staff showed us to our studio, staff very cheerful. Food in the pub was great, not just pub grub. Only downside, studio was small.”

”A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).”

”Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.”

”We loved our stay at Dockenbush Cottage. It was located on a rural property making for a peaceful,relaxing stay. It was comfortably furnished and well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. Graham also included a welcome pack which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay not too far from major towns and villages.”

”Laburnum Cottage is in an ideal location for exploring Bedale and all that North Yorkshire has to offer. Clean, well equipped, comfortable beds, lovely garden, and really just everything you need to enjoy a pleasant break. Communication with Terry, the host, is excellent, so no issues there. Second visit to the cottage and would recommend. We will definitely return.”

”Five Stars This was yet another fantastic stay at this lovely holiday cottage. It’s dog-friendly, which is always a huge bonus for us, and the location couldn’t be more perfect — right in the heart of all the fabulous local walks. ”We had a wonderful five night stay in Newbiggin. Phil could not have been more helpful and accessible.Westbrook House was beautifully clean and well equipped.
