The place was great. We did notice a very strong moldy smell in the kitchen. Pretty sure it was the sponge to wash the dishes with. Fully stocked kitchen and tons of towels for guests. We had a horrible time with the internet for the tv. We signed into our YouTube tv but it kept booting us out every couple minutes. Friday we thought it was because of the ridiculously high winds but it continued to happen Sat night and Sun morning. The place was very bright and very clean, easy to find and lots of things to do in the area. We really loved Buckeye Lake Brewery and Horvaths Harbor - martinis were AMAZING! We would stay again when we come down next spring.

Nice property well maintained but seems as if cleaning crew was a bit off

Look, this is a great place. We enjoyed our two days there. The location was ideal, with an anwesome view of the lake. It was obvious that the owner had worked on the property to make it semi-upscale. I think it was a one off issue where the cleaning crew just decided that they didn’t want to do their job. Towels were put away wet, floors were dirty…like I said, everything else was great.

Beautiful, Clean Home

We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others. The view of the lake is beautiful and the accommodations are as represented in the listing. The host was available and communication was good. This home delivers on the comfy beds, quality pillows (bed and in living room), and warm blankets! One thing we had to work around a little was that the water pressure could drop at times. We know this depends on location sometimes, so no big deal. Other than that, we give this a good recommendation.

Serene Location overlooking Buckeye Lake

The home sits overlooking the beautifully serene Buckeye Lake with spectacular views from the front porch and upstairs bedrooms. The home is centrally located to allow short day trips to Columbus or Hocking Hills. The home is filled with natural light and spacious airy rooms. The bedrooms are comfortably appointed, and the bathroom towels are first class. The kitchen has the basics to be able to prepare and serve a simple meal. We were pleased to find a first class outdoor grill. The host was easy to reach and very responsive. We would stay in this home again.

A could days to stay with a beautiful view while we celebrated our son’s graduation! It was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean inside! A very open and comfortable home. We loved it and would like to come back. Only negative was the family of cats that took over the outside furniture. It would have been nice to have a bonfire area but other than that everything worked out great!

Beautifully calm and clean

I travel for work and usually opt to find short-term rentals rather than hotels. This property far exceeded my expectations. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and I felt at home. The view of Buckeye Lake was lovely to have while I worked from the kitchen table. I was traveling alone, and there was more than enough space for just me. But the house has more than enough room to accommodate the eight people it can sleep comfortably.
