” Camelot Castle Hotel is a fantastic place to see and even better to stay. We had a lovely room overlooking the sea, with views extending along the coast and over to the ruins of Camelot Castle. the staff are excellent, and as we were leaving, we got the chance to meet Ted, the wonderful artist who lives and paints at the Castle. ”We had a nice stay, the lodge was comfortable and clean, except for the kitchen. We had to clean the cupboards and severale dishes need to be washed. There was one towel each, and dispite asking several times for clean towels, we never received them and the owner of the lodge suggested us to dry the used towels on the radiator. Then the communication stopped. That was a bit dissapointing, because we were very satisfied about the rest: the environment was beautiful, we had a nice week!”

”What a great property and location for a family holiday. Also celebrating my retirement and our 40th wedding anniversary. After seeing photos of Cumbrae House,everyone was so excited. We weren't disappointed when we arrived. There was everything you could think of that you might need for your holiday and more (i couldn’t find a veg peeler), but the good assortment of kitchen equipment did the job. I would definitely recommend Cumbrae House to anyone thinking of having a family o group holiday...
