”We were there for a quick over-night to go on a safari in the early morning. The evening meal was poor, in fact it was take-out from another supplier and not prepared on the spot. The box breakfast was poor. The room was fine. We did not use the pool. It is quite far from the nature park so requred a long drive to get to the safari. Generally it was OK for the price. Just have realistic expectations.”

Only problem with hotel is internet did not work, and no phone reception in that area either. ”

”I had a great relaxing stay in Yala. The manager was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was decent size with separate shower. The breakfast was basic but tasty and lots of it. The pool was great to jump into after a long day travelling or on safari. All the jeeps will come pick up from the hotel and they can even arrange a safari for you for a reasonable rate if you dont want to do it yourself online. Theres not much around the...

Wadula Safari Yala
Wadula Safari YalaKataragama
10/10 Loistava
The hotel is overall a wonderful experience, truly allowing you to feel part of nature while enjoying excellent vegetarian cuisine and complete tranquility.
There is not much to do at the hotel itself, which is exactly the point, it’s the perfect place to unwind, relax, and connect with nature. Yala safaris can also be conveniently arranged directly through the hotel.
The food and breakfasts are excellent.
The service is smooth and professional, with very attentive staff.
The rooms are clean...
