Debra and Victor are awesome hosts, taking time to pick us up and drop us off at bus station when we arrived in and departed from Oaxaca for day of dead festivities. ”We really enjoyed our stay! As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a lot of street noise as it’s such a great central location. I found it easy to sleep just by running the fan as white noise and there are fewer cars and noisy passers-by overnight anyway. The courtyard is beautiful and although our trip was packed with activities so we didn’t spend much time at the house other than to sleep, we’d stay again. Moises was very helpful and responsive. ”We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. It was a great location (an easy 15 minute walk to the zocalo). We were greeted by the host on arrival and communication throughout the stay was easy. The house itself is clean and stunningly decorated with local handicrafts. The kitchen was fully equipped and we enjoyed leisurely mornings drinking our coffee around the large kitchen table. ”The property is large and can easily accommodate a large group. Housekeeper and groundskeeper were thorough and attentive. Kitchen was stocked with continental breakfast items and coffee.
