Regarding the dark staining on the wood ceiling in one of the upstairs bedrooms, our inspection reveals no significant cause for worry. However, we understand your apprehension and will promptly repair that section of the ceiling to alleviate any lingering concerns. Furthermore, we will take immediate action to clean the grill meticulously or replace it if necessary, ensuring it is in pristine condition and ready for use. I sincerely apologize that the cabin was not cleaned as thoroughly as possible before your stay. We take cleaning seriously and have upgraded our efforts including adding monthly pest control to reduce cobwebs, etc. Bob, my property manager, handles cleaning personally and just recently completed a deep clean of the cabin. We are both challenged by your feedback and will make sure to do our best so that you and future renters can be confident you will find it in great shape when you arrive.

When we built the cabin we tried to keep the structure as much like a cabin as possible and this included not installing insulation between floors, for example, but using as much wood flooring as possible. We hope you will stay with us again!

Thanks for staying with us and I'm sorry you did not have a 5-star experience which is our goal but we appreciate the feedback. We have window treatments in the first floor bedroom but chose not to put them in the main living area since the cabin is very private and there is no opportunity for people outside the cabin to see you given how the cabin is located. We wanted guests to be able to enjoy the nature around as much as possible. Thanks for the feedback on the coffee pot - we purchased that not long ago.
