CEDAR SANDS located by Cox Bay Beach: Welcome to your home away from home. Located within walking distance to Cox Bay (approx. 10 min), one of Tofino's renowned surf beaches, Cedar Sands is a custom built, rustic, three bedroom house.

There are two comfortable bedrooms located on the main floor, plus a charming loft-style bedroom upstairs ( third floor)—perfect for kids or anyone who loves a cozy, elevated space. The home features two bathrooms: a shared bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a private ensuite with a deep soaker tub, ideal for unwinding after a day of adventure. Enjoy the open-concept fully stocked kitchen that flows seamlessly into the living room, offering plenty of space to play games, read a book, share a meal, or gather around the cozy wood-burning fireplace.

Gather around the outdoor fire pit, where the kids can enjoy roasting marshmallows while the adults unwind and soak in the joy of quality family time. Relax in the newly added wood barrel sauna — perfect after a day of exploring Tofino and all it has to offer. After a surf session, rinse off in the outdoor shower, or use it as a refreshing cold plunge between sauna rounds. Upstairs, the deck features a hot tub and a comfortable seating area, ideal for extra relaxation or entertaining under the stars. There is so much to see and do on the West Coast of Vancouver Island - make this house your base camp for your next adventure!

Host Rules:
Renters agreement must be signed to confirm the reservation

Age restrictions: must be 25 years or older to book

Tofino Bylaw only allows 6 guest (max) to stay at the property

During peak summer season (July-Aug) 3 night min. If you try to book and receive a "host unavailable" message but the calendar appears open, please send us a message as our software has a few booking rules and may require us to override it.

3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays

2 dogs max with and must be owner approved.

Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Cancellation Policy:
• We require 30 days' notice.
• If you cancel outside of this period, you'll receive a full refund (minus any pesky 3rd party fees they may collect).
• If you cancel within the 30 days, the reservation is non refundable

Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.
