Most disappointing experience ive ever had. Called ahead to make sure the room we were getting would fit the needs of my medically complex husband. Was told it was. Once we arrived and was checking in i asked again about the room...Again was assured it was a mobility accessible room. Well! NO it wasnt. Called front desk was told we could get a refund. (3 to 5 businesses days later) so it shortly my account because i had to pay again for another room. Was told to call expedia that they should be able to help. When Expedia called the property they were told i got the room i ordered so expedia refused to help us. It was a friday night and called around for hours looking for a room while my disabled husband sat in the car. We were hours away from home. Ended up at the hospital so i could clean him up after he had an accident since i had no where to take him. Finally able to find a suitable room at 1am. I spend hours crying and calling hotel after hotel. Baymount then turned around and billed me the 2nd time sat morning. Shorting my account even more. They didnt care what we gone through and the lady Saturday morning was rude and left me on hold and never came back. I will leave walk into that property again. Lesson learned.... always check your room before you paid especially if you are traveling with a medically complex person. Now home waiting on both refunds... Thank you Baymount for the worest experience ever!!
