”We went for the comfort room. It was tiny. Nowhere to hang or layout clothes, not even a chair to put things on. Superficially clean but needed a proper deep clean. Breakfast was fine (good range of cooked options) and location excellent. Certainly not worth the amount we paid for it (over £160). We plan to return to Rye as it is such a beautiful town but we will find somewhere else to stay next time.”

”Lovely place to stay, basically a guest room in a shared house though. Quiet hours meant no late showers which was hard when our days were planned ahead of time. Host was sweet and the room was nice, just felt like a lot of rules that would’ve been helpful ahead of time. The small town is so fun, loved walking around the stores and trying all the local restaurants - they close early so plan for that!”

”Traditional and homely accommodation, just what we were looking for as a place for our family to stay. The location was excellent. The services of the city centre were close by, but the hotel was located on a beautiful street in a quiet environment. The rooms were charming, one of which we used was particularly functional and comfortable. A very good traditional English breakfast, complemented by berries and yoghurt. I couldn't have asked for anything more for breakfast or from the hotel. I can...

”Lindsay was a really nice host, we could have what we wanted for breakfast, there was tea, coffee sugar and milk in the room. Our room was very spacious and bathroom was very large and well layed out, our room looked out on to the garden which was nice.”

”Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. Interior...

”It was good price-value for staying relatively close to the airport. There was instant coffee and tea in the room which I always like as a small factor when doing on the road stop like this and not necessarily having full breakfast. Staff was okay and bed and facilities sufficient but nothing special. It was further away from the airport than I thought. When using buses, you had to walk around 1,5km in dark to get there, this was a bit of downer. They offered (quite pushily) a taxi service for...

”Siisti pieni huone. Parkkipaikka takapihalla. Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja hyvä ruoka.”

”A comfortable bed. Bathroom was great with plenty of hot water. Good parking. Delicious breakfast. Only issue was no plugs in the bathroom.”
