”Amazing Stay , Super Clean & Family-Friendly!
We had a great time at the Empire Motel! The rooms are newly renovated and spotless, and the owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. It’s in a great location—just a short walk to the beach, with lots of parking. We loved the pool and BBQ area, perfect for hanging out with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back!”
”The property is very pretty with pool and nice shaded gazebo area. Super convenient for Skaha beach and other amenities. Unit was very clean, and tAC worked fine - if a bit noisy, and units are a bit outdated, but very good value for the price.”
”Room was very clean, new, beds were comfy, ac was blowing icy cold for me, and the bathtub was deeper than any standard hotel I have been to (and that’s lots!). Sure it’s not right on the beach but it was in a quiet area tucked away from the hustle of the main tourist area, but close to amenities. It was priced at about 1/2 the price of hotels in the area, I have zero complaints.
There are some mixed reviews but I think that some people have unrealistic expectations of a budget friendly hotel....
”Exactly what we were hoping for - a clean, slightly updated, kitchenette suite with easy access to a pool and walking distance to Okanagan Beach. We were very happy with the suite we got. It is definitely a popular family destination and comes with everything you need but would recommend asking about the dish/kitchen inventory in case you need more. Very happy with our stay! Will be coming back!”
”Awesome view, friendly and helpful staff, great location. My only complaint is the noise from the restaurant the Friday and Saturday night we stayed. Loud music until the wee hours of the night was not ideal the night before the Okanagan Gran Fondo. ”
”Newly renovated, clean and quiet - we were further back off main drag. Love the communal bbq areas - family friendly and across street from beach - great location for beach and some restaurants. Walk to downtown core doable. Staff very friendly and responsive to questions. They provide beach towels which is helpful and well stocked kitchen. ”
