”This small motel suits well for one night stay, but not anything more. We had a two bedroom tidy apartment with small kitchen/living room. Only one bathroom which had seen its best days. Reception was close when we arrvied but key was left to a box near the reception. Very handy! There is a bar/pub linked to the motel where you can get at least some drinking.”

”There are no staff. This is a self-serve property. It works quite well. But the walls are incredibly thin. A person talked - not shouting or fighting, just talking - for 3 hours non-stop in the room next to us (finally stopping at 2am) and I could hear every word. The person in the room on our other side thought it was us (so could hear it 2 rooms away!) and was kicking the walls until I shouted that it was another room. Onsite staff would be useful in a case like that.”

”This place is amazing! I stayed here with my two sons in a two bedroom apartment-style unit. Overall, the facility is great, a luxury apartment on a property that felt like being in a national park. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Swimming pools were large and luxurious with pool-side bars. On-site dining in room service were also great. I would definitely stay here again.”

”Very nice place with fresh brownies on offer (no extra charge) various teas and coffee, breakfast box provided. A bit out of town so you need a car or other vehicle but close to the Byron Bathhouse!”

”The hostel was nice and clean. My room (dorm for 4) was also big wich was nice 'cause all my and my roomies stuff fit there nicely. The beds weren't comfortable at all, the mattresses were so thin that I could felt every spring...and the sheets were bit old and nasty. The towel wich I rented smelled old and swet, not nice. The kitchen was cleanesh and big. There were everything you needed but the fridges were very full and the bio trash was horrible, didn't want to touch that at all! Also all...

”Overall it was OK and in a great spot. However the TV was not working in the main room, which is poor. We were also abruptly told we would be charged extra if we were out by 10.30am instead of 10.00am”

”The property was amazing and in a great location straight across from the beach. The property was clean and well designed. Close to local restaurants. Pool facilities were great kids loved the spa. Only issue was there was a mix up with room keys being lost and never found thru our stay by previews rental people.”

”-: WiFi was down for the whole time in our one night stay and we didn’t get any notice about it. Cabin bit outdated +: If you need roof on top of your head and that is only thing you need, then this is the place.”

”The property was a 1-bedroom unit with all the requirements including washing machine and dryer. In the lounge the couch was not very comfortable; the unit had no view to the beach and little natural light. Ther unit was perfect for beach access and great location for Byron Bay and local drives. I would recommend the apartment but not if you're unable to freely walk around and upstairs as the was no elevator.”
