”The Berberry is a great place to stay, just 10 minutes walk from the station or the seafront, and offers a very comfortable bed with a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead!!! We were warmly welcomed, and the information Steve shared about local restaurants helped us to find some delicious seafood even on a bank holiday weekend!! Wendy’s delicious homemade cake was a lovely addition to a relaxing cuppa in the garden on our arrival, and the breakfast menu covers all tastes, including...

”Clean room very friendly staff, excellent breakfast.”

”Our first mini break away alone, in 13 years and it didn't dissapoint. Anne is the most lovely host, so organised, courteous and kind, nothing was too much trouble. We were a little hot in the small double room, however Anne quickly provided a fan that assisted well. Breakfast was very tasty and scheduled for a time to suit us. Anne was very accommodating to my intolerances and catered with alternative milk and yoghurt. When booking I was unsure if booking the pool would be inconvenient,...

”We received such a lovely warm welcome from Vanessa and Cameron on arrival at the Millbrook, which immediately made us feel at home. Hotel was absolutely spotless, and breakfast was piping hot and delicious, in fact it was the best breakfast we have had. Vanessa and Cameron worked so hard to make everyone’s stay perfect. They took the time to get to know each guest individually. We loved the well-stocked tea tray in our room and the mini fridge, which was restocked daily with fresh milk and...

”Excellent Guest House! Good location, very friendly hosts, nice rooms, and lovely breakfast. Highly recommendable.”

”Jo & Martin are very welcoming, helpful and exchange places to go and things to do around the local areas. The breakfast were amazing and a good choice of things to eat. Nothing was to much trouble. Helpful with parking too . Couldn’t get on the web site so phone and Jo sorted it out for me.”

”The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night.”
